THE QUASISTATIONARY ELECTRICAL FIELD ON THE ICE-WATER FILM DURING SPONTANEOUS CRYSTALLIZATION

Annotation

An electrostatic model of ice thin plate growing from supercooled water is considered. This model is based mainly on the Workman-Reynolds effect theory developed by A.A. Chernov, etc. The relationship between freezing potential arising on solidification of the diluted aqueous solution of electrolytes and electrical field distribution near the ice-water film is calculated.
