The electrodynamics and thermodynamics of the interphase boundary layer at the crystallization front of a deluted aqueous solution of the electrolyte


The article considers the theory of the Workman - Reynolds effect, i.e. the difference in electric potentials between the diluted aqueous solution and ice crystal growing from the supercooled solution. Some electrodynamic characteristics of the interphase boundary layer at the front of crystallization are estimated. The influence of the intrinsic electrical field on the thermodynamics and kinetics of supercooled water crystallization is discussed.
