SOME PECULIARITIES OF ATOMIC HYDROGEN SORPTION ON METALS CAUSED BY SURFACE AND VOLUME SOLID PHASE DIFFUSION

Annotation

The peculiarities of hydrogen sorption on d-metals are analysed and summarized. The reaction kinetics of H-adatoms under conditions of small, average and large coverages is considered. The analytical dependence characterizing the kinetics of the bimolecule interactions of hydrogen r-atoms between them and with an active centre is obtained. The kinetics of the cathodic hydrogen ion reduction on iron is compared with the hydrogen diffusion flow in different solvent. The CNSion adsorption can raise and lower i in the acidic chloride solutions. The explanation of the observed experimental regularities is suggested.
