Anomalous copper dissolution in dilute hydrochloric acid isopropanol solutions

Annotation

The effect of additions of copper chloride (II) on the electrochemical and corrosion behavior of copper in dilute hydrochloric acid isopropanol with a constant concentration of chloride ion is studied. The multidimensional effect of the addition of copper cathions in the self-dissolution of the copper electrode, significant role of which is to direct chemical interaction with the surface of the metal, is shown.
