Annotation

The fauna and the population of amphibians and reptiles of gardens are characterized by the high number of a small amount of species. Herpetofauna depends on the character of adjacent biotopes, age and specifics of functioning of gardens. The fauna and population of amphibians are maximum in old gardens with the soft soil, adjoining to a wide flood plain and the timberland. Reptiles gravitate to drier habitats with the neighborhood of the timberland and meadows.
