RECEIPT OF NANOSTRUCTURED ZIRCONIUM DIOXIDE FROM NATURAL BADDELEYITE BY METHOD OF ULTRAFINE GRINDING

Annotation

For the first time by the method of ultrafine grinding the powders of baddeleyite zirconium crystallites with a typical size smaller than 20 nm are obtained. The results of studies of the phase composition and structure of grinding powders are given. The dependence of the phase composition and crystallite size of the duration of grinding is shown. Zirconium dioxide containing ~ 50 % of monoclinic phase without using stabilizers; ~ 25 % when using calcium oxide is received.
