COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE AS FACTOR IN FORMATION OF THERAPEUTIC ALLIANCE OF DOCTOR AND PATIENT

Annotation

Talking with the patient and watching him, the doctor often focuses only on his reactions and behavior and much less on their own feelings and behavior. Physicians should keep in mind that the essence of interpersonal communication is constant action "feedback". Therefore, the doctor needs to constantly maintain a certain emotional self-control to keep benevolence even irritability, inadequate facilities and inadequate reactions of the patient. The patient should be assured of professional competence, qualifications of the doctor and his apparent benevolence to him as a person, because each patient is first and foremost a person and has his own ideas about life, politics, medicine, about himself, about his illness etc.
