Annotation

A review of the literature on the global proliferation of pathogen of downy mildew of sunflower - Plasmopara halstedii , its biological cycle, parasitism, severity and optimal conditions for its development is given. Distribution of pathogen in different forms of its manifestation in Tambov region are shown, the symptoms are described. Cross-contamination of sunflower and weeds of the family asteraceae by the suspension of zoospores of P. halstedii , collected from these plants was conducted, which features two additional storage of pathogen - amaranth and Cyclachena xanthifolia.
