APPLICATION OF BONDARSKY DEPOSIT GLAUCONITE WITHOUT REGENERATION FOR DEMINERALIZATION OF DRINKING WATER AND BOILER ONE

Annotation

Possibility of sorption demineralization of drinking water and water for boilers of middle and high pressure by application of the glauconite concentrate as a sorbent allowing to obtain the normative requirements equal to 7 mmol-eq/L and 0.10 mmol-eq/L respectively is considered. Maximum sorption is achieved for 20-40 min from the beginning of the process. At that total initial hardness of drinking water decreases by 35- 40 % and the boiler water at two cycle process - by 96 % for magnesium and almost by 100 % for calcium. The possibility and the suitability of the application of the waste sorbent as a dietary supplement cattle feed is shown. Toxicological and histological studies on laboratory white rats are presented. The results of research and production experience in feeding older calves are presented. The optimum daily dose of the glauconite concentrate for cattle is equal to 0.1-0.2 g on kg of live weight which, thus, promotes removal from an organism of animals to 32 % of amount of heavy metals.
