EFFICIENCY OF AUGMENTATION MAMMAPLASTY DEPENDING ON THE SHAPE AND VOLUME OF IMPLANT

Annotation

The influence of the shape and form of the surface of silicone implants on the development of postoperative complications and long-term aesthetic effect are assessed. It was found out that the best esthetic results were achieved in the group of patients who teardrop-shaped implants with a rough surface. In the group of patients who received round implants with a smooth surface some complications were registered as some technical difficulties during performing operation, longer preservation of drainage tubes, long postoperative scars.
