Competence approach to personnel potential development at organizations

Annotation

The definition and content of concepts of notions expertise and competence Consider. Due to the lack of unity among researchers in the definition of “competence” the history of the approach and its development in foreign and domestic psychology to determine the psychological component of competence is analyzed. The psychological, social, and pedagogical aspects of the definition of competence acmeological prevailing in domestic studies to determine the psychological component of competence are disclosed. The structure of competence: professional and theoretical knowledge and skills for working in conjunction with the ability to develop new activities, as well as professionally important qualities (value orientation and characteristics of motivation, personality traits and psycho-physiological are considered). The content the components of professional competence, cognitive, regulatory, reflexive status, regulatory and communicative, are determined. Approaches to researchers disclosed components and levels of competencies in psychology and related disciplines are disclosed. The examples of the competency approach in modern education and personnel management are given. Model of Competence as a list of required competencies for strategic goals of the company and staff is considered by an example of corporate competencies holding JSC “Russian Railways”. Competence approach in modern organizations is defined as an effective technology personnel development.
