ACTUALITY OF FORMATION OF INFORMATION COMPETENCE OF SOCIAL WORKER: BASIC NOTIONS AND EVIDENCE

Annotation

An analysis of the concepts of “competence”, “competence”, “information competence”, “information competence of the social worker”, from the standpoint of researchers: S.I. Ozhegov, V.G. Zarubin, N.I. Almazov, V.S. Lednev, M.V. Ryzhakov, V.V. Kraevskiy, A.L. Semenov is given. The urgency of forming the information competence of the social worker in the course of his university studies, reflecting the specific aspects of information society, as well as the interest of researchers active in this field. The approaches to the analysis of concepts and their relations, allocated general and particular, similarities and differences. The issue determines the value of information technology and the importance of the formation of information competence for the future of the social worker and the social sphere in general, on this basis, a definition of information competence in high school social worker, designated relevance of the work in this direction. The article notes that the information competence of the social worker is formed of a set of knowledge and skills, the development and the formation of which is a multi-level system, which acts as the main link activity component. Information competence of the social worker is seen as a complex system formation, which includes a set of knowledge on modern information technology and the principles of their use in the educational process of the university and in their future professional activity.
