Annotation

The peculiarities of modern language situation and tendencies are revealed. It is proved, that foreign borrowings significantly enrich the vocabulary of Russian language, widen the fund of language resources, increase the possibilities of nomination and broadening national language world view. The big process of enrichment of Russian vocabulary is due to foreign words is characterized by intensity of influence of English language. The current vocabulary in its origin is of foreign origin and is widely used in different branches of life (science and technics, economics, policy, art, religion, sport and etc.) and at the level with the words which we often face in everyday life which are the basis of vocabulary of the Russian language speakers. The new stage of development of Russian language, on the one hand, seems to be alarm for the destiny of Russian language, on the other hand, the development of new qualities of Russian language is marked. The activity of a person is not only the use of the existing lexical units, the new words may appear on their basis. During the investigation of peculiarities of modern language situation the four basic positions are marked: 1) the poor spiritual mood of Russian language speaker is viewed; 2) the mental laziness appears, the creative potential is disappearing; 3) the national beginning is becoming poorer; 4) the sense of beauty of Russian word is lost.
