Culture of brainwork is presented as an integrative quality of the personality, in which a combination of personal, motivational and consumerism, intellectual and creative activity of the components determines the effectiveness of learning activities, the student’s ability accurately, efficiently, with the least expenditure of time and effort to perform mental work in the learning process. Personal component - the core component to ensure the readiness of students for learning, forming of cognitive independence, cognitive activity, philosophy and spiritual world of the personality, and the emerging personal positive attitude of students to the educational process, its orientation have an impact on all the other components that make up the culture of mental labor. Three levels of this component are identified: high, medium and low. Motivational and consumerism component is widely studied by psychologists and educators. Psychologists say that human activity poly-reasoned, but one of the motives is usually leading. It makes the personal meaning for work. Motivation has a great influence on the productivity of the educational process and determines the success of learning activities. The lack of explanation of doctrine inevitably leads to a decrease in performance. Based on the techniques of studying motivational and consumerism component diagnose motivational and consumerism sphere of junior student in three main levels of learning motivation: high, medium and low. Intellectual and creative component are considered, where the intellect determines the potential success of training, the standard we can reach the child in learning in the presence of learning motivation. And creativity is the activity generating something qualitatively new and different uniqueness, originality and cultural and historical uniqueness. Creativity is specific to man, as it always involves the creator of a subject of creative activity. Specifics of the interpretation of creativity in education are highlighted. This opens a new on a subjective level. Also three levels of development of this component are defined: high, middle, low. The characteristic of another important part of the unit culture of mental labor, namely organizational and activity component, i. e. qualities and abilities, which manifest themselves in the ability to define the goals and objectives of the proposed work, to identify ways and means to achieve goals, the ability to control the results and process of their work, the ability to assess the degree of their assimilation of educational information. Activity is very broad and includes hygiene requirements. They are seen not only as the ability to know and to comply with hygienic requirements, but also as the ability to apply them for mental work. Organizational and activity component, like other components of culture mental labor is also characterized by three levels: high, medium and low.
