MAIN DIRECTIONS OF SOCIAL-PEDAGOGICAL WORK OF FORMATION OF ORPHANS AND CHILDREN’S INDEPENDENCE LEFT WITHOUT PARENTAL CARE

Annotation

Entering into an independent life, graduates of residential institutions, in which everything is decided for them by adults, where the children had no experience of implementing various tasks assisted living, face many problems that seem unsolvable. In this regard, one of the priority tasks in the field of social adaptation of graduates of institutions for orphans is to improve the systems of these institutions for the education and training of the children placed there, preparing them for an independent life after release from the institution. The problem field of social-pedagogical work, social and public request research actualizes the task of finding the main directions of the organization of process of formation of independence of children orphans and children without parental care. The analysis of researches in the theory of social-pedagogical work with children identified principles of organization of social work with children which must be adhered to while implementing this activity. The formation of independence of the child as a social and pedagogical problem is investigated. The process of formation of independence of children is social-pedagogical process, which integrates the impact of internal and external factors. In our opinion, in the organization of social-pedagogical work with children orphans and children without parental care, as a special category of children, it is necessary to rely on new developments and researches of the issue from the perspective of historical and comparative approaches. Development of new objective approaches to assessing the level of life skills of the students and alumni organizations for orphans and children left without care of parents will contribute to the development and implementation of socio-educational programs aimed at: creating a developmental environment and adaptive system of education; the conduct of correctional-developing work with children; the intellectual and correction of cognitive-emotional processes; the formation of communication skills; integration into society on the rights of full members; provide experience of independent living prior to release from the orphanage; introduction of technologies of social and pedagogical monitoring of the development of life skills of orphans and children left without care of parents.
