Valeologic culture of social worker: essence, content, approaches

Annotation

Formation of valeologic culture of future social workers is discussed as one of the urgent tasks of improving and modernizing social education. In the logic of the total to the unit, a number of concepts is analyzed: “health” – “culture of health” – “health keeping” – “valeologic cultures”. Based on this analysis, the social worker of valeologic culture as a system of life and professional values, based on the theory about the nature and content of the health and regulatory specialist social behavior during his career, is considered. In this context, it is identified that valeologic culture of social worker includes the following elements: a basic knowledge of the culture of health education, including awareness of the role and place of culture of health social worker in the profession; knowledge of the essence of a healthy lifestyle, the structure and content of health culture and the stages of its formation and development; availability of knowledge about the basics of affecting physical, somatic, psychological and spiritual health social worker and social client, methods and technologies for monitoring health status, ways of a healthy lifestyle, the basics of creating a safe and healthy conditions of professional activity. Valeologic culture as one of the most important components of general and professional culture of a social worker is a measure and a means of his self-actualization and fulfillment. Simultaneously valeologic culture acts as an integrated quality of his personality, a condition of effective valeologic activities.
