The use of films and cartoons to teach English spea- king
The question of the effectiveness of the use of films in teaching English is studied. The classification of English films depending on the level of language proficiency is presented. As an example, presented the films of the late 20th – the early 21th century. A short list of resources for watching movies in English is given. The study can be useful for foreign language teachers, students of philological specialties and for those who are interested in English.
