Symbolic measures of political concepts of modern Russian parliamentary parties (on example of party programs)


The symbolic dimension of political concepts Russian parliamentary parties from the standpoint of the methodology of socio-constructivist approach is considered. On an example of party programs parliamentary political parties by conducting discourse analysis of key concepts in order to reveal their ideological basis, the qualitative differences between the comparison and implement major symbolic positions of parties on various socio-political issues. The author reveals the specifics of the symbolic positioning of parties in the political space, identifies implementation mechanisms symbolic of politics as a way of constructing new social and political realities. Relevance of this study also lies in the fact that the concepts of “symbolic politics”, “symbolic authority”, “ideological and symbolic space” are insufficiently developed in the works of Russian political scientists and sociologists. Much of the research of political parties related to the analysis of their doctrines with economic and legal points of view, while the symbolic potential of politics stays out of the interest of scientists. Analyzing the symbolic concepts in party programs, the author focuses on the differences in ideological approaches, the content in lyrics diametrically opposed value-orientation models. Concludes that formulate general criteria in evaluating the content of political programs is unlikely as well as the lack of documents in the parliamentary political parties, a number of relevant concepts.
