Vectors of working capital of Russian enterprises

This article discusses the sources of working capital financing through money market instruments in the context of attracting short-term loans. Based on recent statistical information a comprehensive analysis of the development of the credit market of the Russian Federation is conducted, the basic steps of indicators and their development problems are considered. The factors influencing the structure of debt capital to finance working capital are given. With the successful conduct of business flow of funds from the sale of finished goods corresponds approximately to the basic needs for funds to continue the work. However, some of the goods and resources required from a commercial point of view should be a reserve. For example, for the security of production requires the presence of stocks of raw materials and sales require stocks of finished products to supply. It should also be borne in mind that most sales of finished products manufactured in credit and cash receipts are delayed in time, and the purchase of resources can also be carried out under the terms of the loan that must be repaid what means the company should have adequate liquidity. Policy-making working capital management is closely linked to the financial market in which the company, on the one hand, carrying out short-term borrowing in the form of loans or in the form of issuing its own debt, first of all bonds, acts as the borrower and the issuer. On the other hand, placing temporarily available funds in income-marketable securities – as an investor. Financial market for its role in the financing of production in the real sector of the economy can be subdivided into two major segments: the capital market and money market. Capital market, which draws the medium and long-term financial instruments, allows businesses to raise funds for the acquisition of capital assets. Money market through short-term instruments enables the real economy to mobilize resources to finance working capital. In the narrow sense of the money market short-term loans are provided and obtained. In a broader sense to the money market instruments in addition to commercial loans also include interbank loans, certificates of deposit, savings certificates, bonds, short-term government securities. The present study focused on assessing the current state of the money market and its ability to finance the working capital of enterprises through instruments such as bonds, notes and short-term loans.
