Development of Coordination Abilities of Mentally Retarded Children of Middle School Age

Annotation

In article authors considered the coordination abilities (CA) at children of middle mentally retarded school age, noted that development of coordination abilities is an important component of process of physical training at correctional school and demands an integrated approach in the choice of means and methods of the solution of the correctional developing tasks, also considered various approaches to determination of structure of coordination abilities, characterized age features of development of coordination abilities in mentally retarded children, offered the technique of the directed development of types of coordination abilities based on purposeful distribution of the means of adaptive physical culture used for the directed development of types of coordination abilities on classes in adaptive physical training in a week cycle, gave assessment of its efficiency and presented the test tasks used for control of development of coordination abilities.
