Development of Intonational Expressiveness of the Speech of Children of the Advanced Preschool Age with the Mental Retardation by Means of Musical Activity

Annotation

Article contains the description of empirical research on approbation of the musical correctional occupations aimed at the development of intonational expressiveness of the speech of children of the advanced preschool age with the mental retardation (MR). Musical activity at preschool age is a type of art activity, synthetic by the nature, it unites in itself several active kinds of activity: hearing of music, singing, musical and rhythmic movements, musical and game and dancing creativity, playing music on children's musical instruments. Singing most influences development of smoothness of the speech, modulation of a voice, phonemic hearing, normalization of activity of peripheral departments of organs of articulation (respiratory, articulation, voice). Active use of integration of all types of musical activity at musical lessons: singing in combination with the rhythmics having the motor nature, musical and game and dancing creativity, playing music on children's musical instruments, provides complex influence and contributes to the development of all prosodic components of the speech of the senior preschool children with MR (melodics, rhythm, speed, pausation).
