Pedagogical conditions for forming cognitive interest in schoolchildren


The formation of cognitive interest among students in the modern general educational space of the school is important. The methodological substantiation of the research problem is the interaction of system-activity and student-oriented methodological approaches. The main pedagogical conditions for the formation of cognitive interest are the following: mastering the methodology for the formation of a new system of knowledge and the development of erudition, interaction with the parents of students, the development of a high level of motivation in the organization of the educational process, the search for modern means, methods, organizational forms and technologies that can be used in a modern public school. Developing cognitive interest occupies a significant place in the structure of learning motivation in younger adolescents, determines the productivity and nature of learning, the readiness of students to solve cognitive problems of a research and creative nature. We consider issue of cognitive interest formation in the context of the specific activities of schoolchildren, which allows the teacher to develop the personality of the student and set him up for an active life position. The value of cognitive interest as a desire for new knowledge is associated with the psychological characteristics of younger adolescents (curiosity, responsiveness, acquisition and activation of a new system of knowledge, readiness to perceive everything that the teacher gives).
