Problems of the initial reading skill formation and current social situation of young child development
We provide the examination data of current first-grade pupils from the point of view of readiness to master the initial reading skill. We make an attempt to systematize the obtained data, to distinguish groups of students from the point of view of their own learning resource. We propose possible ways of constructing educational trajectories for various groups of first-grade students of contemporary primary school.
