Realization of copyright in new media: legal and ethical aspects
We show copyright protection mechanisms in new media. We conduct a comparative analysis of the Law "On Copyright and Related Rights" of 1993 and part IV of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation of 2006. We analyze examples of law enforcement practice in relation to new media from 2007 to the present. We establish that the implementation of copyright is influenced not only by civil law standards, but also by ethical and moral rules.
