Motivation of agricultural university students to take part in teaching a professional foreign language on the basis of integrated subject-language teaching

The effectiveness of the process of teaching a professional foreign language to students of an agricultural university on the basis of integrated subject-language teaching is directly dependent on a number of conditions. One of the important psychological conditions is the motivation of students to take part in teaching a professional foreign language on the basis of integrated subject-language teaching. In this work, we examine the term motivation, types of motivation – internal and external, the theory of motivation by A. Maslow. With regard to teaching a foreign language to students of an agricultural university, we consider the communicative and linguistic-cognitive motivation of students.
