Drawing in pre-university architectural education

Annotation

In a multilevel system of art education “school – university” an important element – pre-university preparation is missed. The question of preliminary training in the system of architectural education is considered. The causes determining the necessity of organization structures that prepare high school students to university entrance are disclosed. The experience of the teaching of students in art- graphic studio at the university is given. The attention is focused on the leading discipline entrance exams - drawing. The main tasks of the discipline – the transfer form and space – are defined. The content of the concepts of “form”, “construction”, “space”, method of “obrubovka” in the image, “constructive drawing” is disclosed. The approach to the topic of training systems drawing of future entrants in “Architecture” Department, linear and constructive drawing are characterized. In presenting the material the geometric method that enables to compare complex combined with the simplest form of geometric cal bodies is used. The graphical tools as an important component in achieving of Fine and expressiveness in the drawing are considered. The technique of training in artistic space-graphics studio for training students of pre-university age in a pattern designed to develop necessary for future learning in high school in “Architecture” of three-dimensional artistic and compositional thinking is shown. The indirect means of university education space influencing on career choices of future applicants are given.
