“City of Lermontov’s Paymaster’s Wife is gladly dear to heart”: work of D.D. Burlyuk within cultural history of Tambov region

Annotation

The main stages of artistic way of founder, idea inspirer of Russian futurism D.D. Burlyuk within Tambov cultural links are considered. In spite of the fact that in Tambov he was in youth only three years the roll with outstanding names “Tsninsky region” in his work present throughout life. The paper draws attention to the specifics of artistic individuality of Burlyuk, his outstanding abilities of art manager, publisher, and advocate art of “budetliane” and creativity of V.V. Mayakovsky. The traces of Russian futurism and artistic experimentation of Burliuk of 18th century literature, poetry of G.R. Derzhavin are shown. The theme, linguistic, stylistic parallels between the poems of futurist and odes of G.R. Derzhavin are given, their lipogrammy are investigated. The role of musical poem of S.V. Rachmaninoff “Isle of the Dead” in the formation of Russian futurism is represented. The nature of the creative activity of Burlyuk in exile in the United States is analyzed. This article contains material correspondence of Burlyuk with Tambov regional specialist N.A. Nikiforov, published in Tambov in 2011. The poet’s image and artist in the work of V.V. Mayakovsky, V.V. Khlebnikov, E.A. Yevtushenko, S.E. Biryukov is considered.
