Evolution of military concept sphere in poetry of M.V. Lomonosov


Within the limit of cognitive and cultural studies in linguistics the concept “war” in Russian concept sphere of Mikhail Vasilyevich Lomonosov’ poems, focusing up on its cognitive structure are investigated. The possibility of understanding Russian military culture through the key words and expressions of Russian language is considered. The distinction between the disciplines that study the relationship and claims that a through cognitive analysis is an essential prerequisite for any research in the area is disclosed. The gradual change of heroic inspiration in military poems to the religious and national inspiration is corroborated.
