Some problems of implantation of intraocular lenses in treatment of cataract in children

Annotation

Research objective: to estimate efficiency of surgical treatment of cataracts various etiology with implantation of some types of intraocular lenses in children. Materials and methods: the condition of eyes at 44 patients, underwent to surgical treatment is studied at elimination of the congenital, complicated, traumatic cataracts, with implantation of various models of intraocular lenses (IOL). Cataract extraction with implantation of IOL to all patients had been performed at the department of eye microsurgery of first clinical urban children’s hospital of Tashkent. Results: correct tactics at a choice of the method of surgical treatment of children’s cataracts have led to good functional outcomes.
