High degree myopia with thin cornea. Correction methods. Literature review

Annotation

In the article the literature review of methods of correction of high myopia in combination with thin cornea is analyzed. The analysis of literature data is of great interest among ophthalmologists in search of the most ef-fective and safe method of correction of high myopia in combination with thin cornea. In recent years it is widely used keratorefractive surgery for correction of myopia. However many sections of excimer laser surgery require further study. Technologies with “transkranialna ablation”, femtosecond intrastromal Myoring implantation were appeared. Methods of myopia treatment presented in the article demonstrate a high refractive and functional result. However, today there is no universal method of correction of high myopia in combination with thin cornea. Each method has its positive and negative aspects.
