Journal “Current Issues of the State and Law” is a peer-reviewed scientific-practical legal periodical.

Established in February, 2017.

The establisher, publisher, editorial of the journal is Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “Derzhavin Tambov State University”. 33 Internatsionalnaya St., Tambov 392000, Tambov Region.

The periodical is registered by the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology, and Mass Media (Roskomnadzor). The certificate of registration of mass media ПИ № ФС 77-69827 May 18, 2017.

General instruction on formation and publishing the scientific journal is implemented by the editorial board with the editor-in-chief. Editor-in-chief of the journal – Candidate of Law Roman Valeryevich Zelepukin. 

Themes of the journal. The journal is dedicated to current debatable issues of jurisprudence, legislation, law-enforcement practice, scientific studies in theory of the state and law, substantive and procedural law including aspects of national security, state and municipal government, and also law in the social sciences system. The basic headings of the journal are:

• General Theory and History of Law and the State.
• Substantive Law.
• Procedural Law.
• National Security.
• Review of Legislative and Law-Enforcement Practice.
• Legal Community (reviews, scientific reviews, personalia, information about scientifical and practical events).

The journal publishes the articles having the scientific and practical value for academic society: original articles, reviews, personalia, information about scientific and practical events.
The preference is given to the scientific articles containing new results of the theoretical and applied researches within the headings of the journal. The editorial welcomes the scientific reviews containing the analysis of the modern foreign publications allowing assess the condition of the considered topic.

All the articles received by the editorial are subject to mandatory double-blind review; the manuscripts are not given back.

The editorial of the journal does not charge paper submission, processing or publication fee from the authors.

The publication is for scientific workers, lecturers of high school, doctoral candidates, post-graduate students, master’s degree students, students and all who are interested in achievements of modern Russian science, including international community.

Languages used for publication: Russian, English. Publications in German, French and Chinese are possible upon consultation with editorial.

The journal is on the “Official list of scientific reviewed periodicals for publication principal scientific researches of dissertations for academic degree of candidate of science, doctor of science” by High Attestation Commission at the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia (from December 25, 2020), in law scientific specialties 5.1.1, 5.1.3, 5.1.4 (с 01.11.2022).

Indexed by the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI).

Policy of the journal. The aim of the journal is the effective connection between juridical science, education and practice. The headings of the journal are the platforms for discussion current issues of legislation and law-enforcement improvement on domestic, multinational and international levels. The articles are submitted by the members of the editorial board or by the editor of the journal, who are responsible for its contents, scientific value and originality.

The mission of the journal is to popularize the results of leading legal scientific researches and to present them to the wide audience.

The editorial may disagree with the point of view of the authors. The responsibility for the contents rests upon the author. The reference is obligatory while using the materials of the journal.
